Hunters at a Florida farm say it's the largest alligator they've ever captured in the wild: nearly 15 feet long. They killed it because it had been eating their cattle for survival. The beast is estimated to be 70 - 100 years old and it's skin is probably the most valuable for clothing and accessory products that no doubt will be available somewhere.
Of course many on the animal loving side are extremely outraged and calling for criminal punishment for the men involved. They want to donate the meat to charity, though one can't imagine any organization willing to accept 100 year old meat, or from something that is socially offensive.
